Katie had taken all 8 ABRSM exams in singing by the age of 18 and is able to take you through your exams too.

Katie provides piano lessons for anyone currently in the Staffordshire area who wants to start learning how to play the piano, no matter what age you are! Katie has passed her ABRSM exams in piano and now plays accompanying herself for events, functions, corporate work and weddings.

Katie has a BA Hons degree in Music and Drama from the University of Birmingham and is no stranger to music theory. If you are taking ABRSM exams in any instrument then you need grade 5 music theory to continue from grades 5 and onwards in your instrument. Katie can help you with your music theory with private tuition, whether individually or as a group.

Music theory is extremely important for any musician. It can help enhance your singing talent, standing you apart from others if you are able to understand and read it.

If you are taking ABRSM exams you will be required to undergo an aural section of your exam and Katie can also help with this. Sight reading and sight singing are key elements in this and Katie is extremely experienced and skilled in both.

Katie can be hired to conduct a workshop for a group of people. This can include a fun musical theatre workshop where she will teach some songs from a musical, for example 'Hairspray' and put routines to it to create a mini musical at the end.

Singing workshops are also offered where people can work on their skills and try out or build their repertoire for auditions, informative sessions are also conducted to learn more about the gigging lifestyle and associated tools and equipment.

Katie can do workshops in any venue, including schools or leisure centres.
